Is there a setup fee or contract?
No setup fee. The monthly plan ($49.95 a month) has a 3-month minimum, because we design, write and set up your whole website upfront. After 3 months you can cancel any time. Prefer to pay once? The yearly plan is $499 a year, which works out to two months free.
Is the domain really included?
Yes. We register a new domain in your name, or connect the one you already have at no extra cost. If you ever leave, the domain stays yours.
What if the domain I want is already taken?
It happens a lot! That’s why we ask for three choices. We register the first one that’s available, and if none are, we email you a few similar options to choose from. Standard domains (.com, .co.uk and similar) are included; premium or unusual domains that cost more can be added for the difference in price.
How do I cancel or update my card?
Use the ‘Manage subscription’ link at the bottom of every page. You can update your card and download invoices in a couple of clicks. On the monthly plan you can cancel any time after your first 3 months; the yearly plan simply renews each year unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Are there any extra costs?
No. Everything above is included. The only optional extras are a professional email address (+$6/month) and Stripe’s card fees on payments your clients make to you, which go directly to Stripe.
